Washi Eggs Painted Egg design. By size in descending order the eggs are ostrich, duck, and chicken. Covering things with Washi Paper was a craft technique learned in Okinawa. They planned craft classes at Bechtel. Rice glue is used to cover the egg and hold the washi paper on. Some of the eggs are either rice glue covered over the paper or shellac applied. |
